Our state-of-the-art treatment room today is something for which we have a lot of pride. This is especially powerful when looking backwards in time and thinking about how hard we have worked to make it what it is today. Our state-of-the-art treatment centre is devoted to creating a premier eye surgery experience in Sea Point through cutting-edge technology and a holistic approach to eyesight. We perform general eye surgeries, eye tests, refractive laser surgery and treat many other conditions. All of this is coupled with break-through technologies and a slick and professional environment.
But this has not been without a lot of careful consideration. Everything we have done in our treatment center has been achieved with the patient in our mind. The patient and the eye are our sole focus. We want our patients to be as comfortable as possible and receive the best possible service. These are the four main patient considerations and questions we took into account when creating our rooms.
1. Technology-based experience
The world today is a place where everyday actions are largely reliant on technology. We know that our patients have grown accustomed to the use of technology to make their lives more efficient. That is why we pride ourselves on using an array of different technologies and devices. This is important for a number of reasons, but one of the most important reasons is because our patients want us to use their time effectively. In the time that the patient is with Dr. Aleksic, we want very little of that to be spent on paperwork, and the majority of it to be spent on treatment and diagnosis.
2. Cutting-edge equipment
This goes without saying, because the medical world is all about offering the best quality of procedure (with an experienced doctor who has the best training) using the latest breakthrough equipment. This is to ensure the soonest diagnosis, as well as being able to offer an array of treatment options for the patient so that all options are available to that patient. Whether it’s Glaucoma, Cataracts, or Age-Related Macular Degeneration, we want to be able to cater for your needs and start you on your treatment journey.
3. Friendly and professional staff members
We know that professional service is absolutely essential to our rooms and we pride ourselves on this. We also know how stressful these times are, and difficult diagnoses often add to this strain. That is why we ensure that our rooms are a place where patients feel respected, comfortable and most of all, heard.
4. Clean, welcoming waiting room
There is no denying that we are slightly obsessed with our waiting room and doctors rooms. But we also know that our patients appreciate it too, making their overall experience of the rooms far more enjoyable. With a 180 degree view of Sea Point, overlooking the ocean, we know we enjoy this space as much as everyone else does. The interiors are slick, contemporary, comfortable and professional.
Of all doctors, an eye-doctor is someone who is obsessed with the finer details. Being fascinated by the microscopic, precise and high-tech world of ophthalmology means that eye-doctors find themselves in the meticulous and complex world of the human eye; one where eye surgeons must work synchronously, quickly and faultlessly with their medical team on delicate and minuscule surface areas. We believe that this attention to finer details is evident in every inch of our rooms.
